Anger really can kill you: study
|
CHICAGO (Reuters) –
Anger and other strong emotions can trigger potentially deadly heart rhythms in certain vulnerable people, U.S. researchers said on Monday. |
“It’s definitely been shown in all different ways that when you put a whole population under a stressor that sudden death will increase,” said Dr. Rachel Lampert of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, whose study appears in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
|
“The people who had the highest anger-induced electrical instability were 10 times more likely than everyone else to have an arrhythmia in follow-up,” she said.

When making dramatic changes to your life, you must make changes internally as well as externally. You cannot make permanent changes from the outside only, as you can only have an inside fix to an internal problem.
For the outside support, however, this advice is very good!
What’s one of the best ways to stay on target with meeting your life goals? Surrounding yourself with like minded individuals is the secret. Remember the old saying, “You are the company you keep”? It’s true. However, we can’t all keep company with Stephen Covey, John Assaraf, John Gray, Marci Shimoff, Barbara DeAngelis, T. Harv Eker and other motivational/inspirational people on a daily basis. But, I have found a way to have this influence in my life on a regular basis. It’s through The Real Life Legends Club. |

How do you handle the news about the economy without freaking out? With a strong internal compass and foundation! Learn of the tools that can help build or strengthen it.
The news from Wall Street and the Financial industry is not very promising. If we are not conscious and diligent, it can lead to stress and cause us to fall into the energy of despair and hopelessness. As in the law of attraction; what you put out is what you get back. So how do you continue to put out abundance, ease and wealth during these times without diluting your constructive energy by falling back into the hopeless feelings and erasing your desired outcomes? Why is it even important to stay in a positive and empowered space? Will it even make a difference? |

This is an interesting concept. It is a teleseminar that basically tells us why we need to get back to our intuition and some of the tools we can use to get us there. This clip talks a bit about the concept behind the teleseminar which is a point of view that makes sense when you read a lot of the other spiritual stuff that is out there. It kind of ties it together. There are some other interesting articles and posts on this blog.
Anyway, the teleseminar is free and you can register at:

There was an interesting article I read about the ego and how it affects our lives. Basically, the article talked about how the ego is something we are actually supposed to have. It’s just that our ego gets us into trouble (causes loss, lack and illness) when it is altered. When we are in our pure ego, then that is when we can experience joy in our lives. I know for me that whenever I tried to get rid of my ego, I always had trouble trying to get rid of it… The more I tried, the harder it was to get rid of…
Anyway, the article gives a great example between the two types of Ego and relates it to when we are learning how to walk. It’s quite an interesting entry.
We are supposed to have an ego.

You are in for a special treat on Tuesday May 13th! |
We will be covering the distinction between being your True Self and the responsibility of that True Self. How many times have we said to ourselves “if only I didn’t have to do THIS, I would be doing THAT”, or “If I could do it all over again, I would really be doing what I love, which is …..”? In this teleseminar, we will be discussing how actually living true to who you are can open up doors and move beyond existing through ‘fear’ and living through ‘love’. |
Join us this Tuesday at 8:00pm Eastern Time on the teleseminar where you will find out how we can live the life of our dreams by creating what we know and love, instead of what we think we should do out of any imagined obligation. |
