Self Sabotage Is it an illusion?
The other day, I wrote an article about self sabotage and how it was really an illusion. “Say What?” Yep I said it! It’s a big fat illusion! The reason why is because we never really do anything that is against our highest priority. We just may not be conscious of our highest priority, and it may not take us to where we want to go in this moment in our lives.
Think about this for a moment. At one point in time, we formed that highest priority because it served us in that place and time. It is just now, our circumstances and perhaps outlook on life have changed, but we haven’t changed the root of our beliefs. They are still operating in the old way. So instead of becoming aware of our old root, we focus on changing our habits, saying positive affirmations, writing journals and the like. These things may eventually work after much time, however it is going from the outside/in, and that ALWAYS takes longer if you are not working from the inside/out as well.
Working from the inside/out would automatically change your habits, words, and way of thinking because that is the way we are wired. You can read the rest of the article on self sabotage here.
You can get a great resource here on how to quickly get to the root of any belief that is holding you back, and turn it around.
